About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Intelligence Specialist to join our team at Michael Page. As an Intelligence Specialist, you will play a critical role in leading our case intake activities and overseeing the screening and assessment of allegations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Case Intake and Assessment: Oversee the screening and assessment of allegations to evaluate their credibility, verifiability, and materiality, and recommend appropriate responses.
  • Intelligence Gathering: Gather, assess, and utilize intelligence from various sources, including case intake, oversight investigations, financial information, and external stakeholder data.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare assessment outcomes for whistleblowers and referral memos for the Secretariat and external agencies.
  • Whistleblower Engagement: Engage with whistleblowers to obtain information supporting assessment conclusions.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise the consistent and timely delivery of Case Intake Analysts' work according to relevant SOPs.
  • Risk Escalation: Escalate cases presenting significant risks to the Analytics & Transformation Manager for potential OIG involvement or management.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Use Case Intake outcomes to create analytics presentations highlighting key trends and fraud risk evolution, providing qualitative and quantitative insights to OIG Management and the Secretariat.
Counter-Fraud Initiatives
  • Regulatory Monitoring: Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends to integrate into the OIG's counter-fraud program.
  • Intelligence-Driven Strategy: Utilize intelligence from case intake activities to inform the counter-fraud strategy and workplan development.
Organizational Engagement
  • Stakeholder Representation: Represent the OIG on panels, in meetings, and with external stakeholders regarding intelligence and investigation case management.
  • Training and Capacity Building: Prepare and lead case intake and assessment training sessions for targeted divisions and functional units.
  • Strategic Alignment: Coordinate with the Manager of Analytics and Transformation to align strategic analysis initiatives, such as investigations, intelligence data analytics, annual reports, and progress updates.
  • Special Projects: Participate in and support special projects and initiatives, serving as a focal point for Case Intake in the redesign of the Case Management System.
Team Effectiveness and Capacity Building
  • Onboarding and Capacity Building: Facilitate effective onboarding and ongoing capacity building for team members.
  • Quality Assurance: Validate Case Intake Analysts' screening assessment outcomes before submitting reports to the Head of Professional Services Unit and Deputy Head of Investigations.
  • Organizational Values: Act as a role model for organizational values and behaviors, emphasizing collaborative relationships within the organization.
Requirements
  • Experience: Extensive experience as a criminal intelligence analyst and/or investigations analyst working on complex criminal and/or administrative investigations in fraud and abuse, or other large-scale and complex investigations.
  • Skills: Proficiency in using appropriate intelligence tools and methods for analytical outcomes, including analysis and investigation databases, free text retrieval applications, and analytical products.
  • Languages: Excellent knowledge of English. Knowledge of other languages would be an asset.
