CASCINATION, a Swiss medical device company, seeks an experienced Software Developer to join our team in Bern. We offer a challenging role in a dynamic environment with opportunities for growth and technical excellence.

Job Description

Your Mission:

  1. We are looking for a skilled software developer to design, implement, and test desktop software applications using C++ and QML while adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  2. As part of our team, you will conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, performance optimization, and maintainability, incorporating quality assurance practices.
  3. You will create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, user guides, and test plans, to facilitate understanding and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  4. We require a software developer to develop and execute comprehensive software tests, including unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing, to validate software functionality and compliance.
  5. As a member of our team, you will stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the industry, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Requirements and Qualifications

Key Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Software Engineering or related technical field.
  2. At least 5 years (Master's degree: 3 years) of experience in software engineering in a regulated industry, e.g., medical, automotive, etc.
  3. Experience in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance.
  4. Proficiency in designing and developing user interfaces using Qt framework.
  5. Experience transferring Figma designs or similar is a plus.
  6. Experience with image processing libraries, preferably VTK and/or ITK.
  7. Professional English skills.
