Job Title: H&B Lead Romandie

Aon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Health and Benefits (H&B) team in Romandie. As H&B Lead Romandie, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic relationships with clients, and leading a team of professionals to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Partner & Business Development:
    • Retain and build existing client relationships, and actively seek new business development opportunities through personal relations or RFPs.
    • Focal contact point for clients, advocating their interests within Aon.
    • Ensure smooth delivery of contractual obligations and day-to-day activities, including business reviews and follow-up actions.
    • Engage with clients to identify strategic needs and priorities, develop potential solutions in collaboration with other Aon entities.
    • Quickly and efficiently leverage a global network of people, best practices, and Aon assets to generate compelling insights, analytics, and strategic solutions.
  • Team Lead & Accountability:
    • Lead a group of 7 colleagues across all health-related business lines, supporting their successful development and career growth.
    • Actively contribute to building high-performing teams, fostering a culture of development, and promoting talents.
    • Work on succession planning, ensuring human resources match client evolving needs.
    • Be the point of contact for H&B leaders in Switzerland, responsible for KPIs such as growth, profitability, and retention.
  • Project Management:
    • Understand, translate, and cascade locally Group initiatives, such as new products and services.
    • Drive innovation and technology projects within the Aon environment and on the client side.
    • Coordinate services with third parties, such as payroll and absence management providers.
    • Work with Carrier-Management to improve H&B products with insurers.
    • Work with Marketing to develop the Aon brand through industry relationship building, thought leadership, whitepapers, conferences, and presentations.
Requirements:
  • Insurance Federal diploma and/or Bachelor degree, with FINMA registration; Master Degree is a plus.
  • 10 years of experience within the Insurance Sector, with an international H&B background, preferably in a commercial/technical role with a leading insurer or broker firm.
  • Extensive experience in senior account management in an international environment.
  • Experienced team leader and business developer.
  • Analytic mind with strong organizational skills and solution-oriented approach.
  • Decisiveness and commitment to personal development.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French, with German as a plus.
