We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Officer to join our legal department at Recruitment Room Europe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on complex legal matters and developing effective compliance strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level legal advice to senior management and the Foundation Council on complex matters.
- Develop and implement effective compliance strategies to mitigate risks associated with our business activities.
- Liaise with external advisors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage day-to-day legal operational tasks, including contract management and document preparation.
- A strong background in Swiss or EU law or (business) economics, with a minimum 3-4 years of experience as a lawyer in the financial services industry or as an in-house counsel / compliance officer.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance based on own assessments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced business environment.
The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and digital assets. Additional qualifications such as international bar admission (CH), MBA, LLM are a plus. Experience working with start-ups and/or fintech companies is also desirable.
