Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at Randstad (Schweiz) AG. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our BSL1 and BSL2 laboratories, managing waste collection, and overseeing the stocking of common consumables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of BSL1 and BSL2 laboratories
  • Manage waste collection and disposal
  • Oversee the stocking of common lab consumables
  • Operate and monitor dishwasher, drying furnace, and autoclaves
  • Participate in on-call services for CTU excursion
  • Clean the dry ice area

Requirements:

  • Relevant vocational qualification or training, or non-related vocational training with 2-4 years duration and 1-3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Google suite
  • Fluent in German and English (B2 level)
  • Self-motivated and solution-driven individual with excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder management
  • Good organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Team player with meticulous attention to detail
