Job Title: Polymer Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Polymer Specialist to join our Technology and Innovation team in Winterthur, Switzerland.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting research and customer trials, maintaining and troubleshooting various machinery and equipment used in polymer applications, and managing inventory of raw materials and equipment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct systematic investigations on polymers processing and present results at group meetings.
  • Support customer trials at Foam and Devo line, providing technical expertise and troubleshooting issues.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot machinery and equipment used in polymer applications.
  • Manage inventory of raw materials and equipment, monitoring stock levels and ordering supplies as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or related field.
  • Proven experience working in a production or pilot plant setting, preferably in polymer processing.
  • Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and analytical instruments.
  • Attention to details, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Fluency or intermediate level in English.
