Our team is looking for a seasoned IT professional to take on the role of Application Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our financial applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain complex IT components, including Crime Compliance, Security, and Routing components.
- Work independently and proactively, supporting the team and contributing to the development of our applications.
- Monitor and manage various installed systems and infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
- Configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Install, test, and maintain various applications on Linux, OpenShift, and Microsoft environments.
- Provide timely reporting on system performance and incidents, ensuring rapid response and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements.
- Deploy changes to test and production systems, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
- Perform various IT duties and support activities as required.
Requirements:
- A degree and 4-6 years of experience in an end-user environment, providing application support.
- Proficiency in IT architecture and a strong understanding of complex systems.
- Experience with OpenShift and Linux/Microsoft environments.
- Strong network experience, including TCP/IP, DNS, and Mail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong English and German language proficiency.
