Cybersecurity Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Ärztekasse Genossenschaft in Zurich area. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to design and implement secure infrastructure components, ensuring the highest level of security for our systems.

• Assess and harden the security of virtual machines, including Debian and Windows systems, to prevent potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Implement robust security best practices for system configurations, hardening, and patch management to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Perform regular vulnerability assessments and execute remediation efforts to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
• Create and update security configurations and procedures for infrastructure components to ensure seamless integration and operation.
• Monitor and analyze infrastructure for security incidents, working closely with the Incident Response Coordinator to coordinate responses and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with system engineers and operations teams to deploy and configure secure infrastructure components, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging threats and vulnerabilities relevant to infrastructure components, applying this knowledge to improve overall security posture.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles and practices.
• At least 3 years of experience in infrastructure security or system administration with a security focus, showcasing expertise in securing complex systems.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux security best practices, as well as experience with vulnerability management tools and techniques.
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes (k8s) and container orchestration, enabling effective deployment and management of secure infrastructure components.
• Relevant certifications are highly valued, demonstrating commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry standards.
• A passion for innovative problem-solving and creative thinking, driving the design of custom solutions to address unique security challenges.
• In-depth knowledge of security best practices and regulatory compliance, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and external regulations.
• An innovative mindset and passion for developing impactful eHealth solutions, leveraging technical expertise to drive business success.
• Proficiency in English is required, while proficiency in German or French is considered an asset.
