Wafer Fab Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual for a preventive maintenance role in our Wafer Production Maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and optimization of equipment in semiconductor production
- Conduct fault analysis, maintenance work, and technical conversions to ensure smooth operation and maximum uptime of the production facilities
- Implement and utilize the MES system for planning, scheduling, and logging maintenance activities
- Collaborate with process and operations departments to support high-volume, defect-free production of micro-optics
- Maintain detailed documentation of machine status, maintenance activities, and work performed
- Work closely with production teams and external contractors on the planning, installation, and commissioning of new equipment
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automation technology, or a related field
- Several years of experience in maintenance and repair of machines/equipment in semiconductor production
- Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (MES) and Microsoft Office
- Excellent problem-solving skills and knowledge of process optimization to improve machine uptime
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in German and English languages
- A competitive salary of approximately $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience
