We are seeking a highly skilled OT and IT systems engineer to join our dynamic team at Vigier Management AG, based in Péry, Switzerland. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary of approximately CHF 80,000 - CHF 110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integration of OT and IT Systems: Design and implement integrated solutions for operational and information technology systems, ensuring transparent and secure communication between OT and IT systems.
  • Industrial Systems Security: Implement robust security measures to protect industrial systems from internal and external threats, conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and optimize the performance of OT and IT systems, proactively identifying and resolving issues, implement automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Develop preventive maintenance programs to ensure the continuous reliability of systems, respond promptly to incidents, diagnose problems, and implement corrective solutions.
  • Interfunctional Collaboration: Work closely with operational teams, software development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of systems.

A degree in electrical engineering, computer science, systems engineering, or a related field is required. Demonstrated experience in designing, deploying, and managing OT and IT systems is essential. In-depth knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC, Modbus) and network protocols, as well as strong skills in industrial and network systems security, are also crucial. Practical experience with technologies such as SCADA, PLC, DCS, MES, and distributed control systems is highly valued. Knowledge of SQL and/or Python is an asset, as is experience with data engineering tools like PowerBI and/or Grafana, and real-time analytics. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are also essential.
