AEQUOR CONSULTING GMBH is seeking an experienced Engineering Services Buyer to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of engineering services.
About the Position- Manage the procurement of engineering services (design, construction, commissioning and qualification services) to support large investment pipeline globally.
- Contribute to development and execute the category strategies for the procurement of engineering services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire life cycle of request for information/quotation process for large packages in your category.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and suppliers' capacity dynamics to inform decision-making and minimize risk.
- Onboard suppliers (existing and new) to the Responsible Sourcing initiatives (Sustainability and Decarbonization).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in Procurement of engineering service, category management, or supply chain within the life sciences level.
- Strong knowledge of the engineering services market.
