The Digitalisation of Wind Energy Doctoral Network aims to train the next generation of researchers equipped with technical and complementary skills to develop high-impact careers in wind energy digitalisation. Co-funded by the European Commission, the network offers a Doctoral Candidate position to provide high-level training in Wind Energy Data Science and Digitalisation.
The PhD project will investigate, design, and implement a knowledge graph generation approach for the Virtual Wind Farm Hub within the TWEED project. This will facilitate the exchange of datasets, research results, and applications, and enable domain experts and data scientists to prototype new services.
As a PhD scholar at OST, you will be part of a motivated and performance-oriented team and have the opportunity for professional and research-based development. You will also have access to a modern employment environment and attractive workplace on the shore of Lake Zurich.
Required skills and qualifications include a Master's degree in a technical subject, experience with knowledge engineering concepts, and programming languages such as Python and Java. Excellent writing and communication skills in English are also essential.
Eligibility criteria include not holding a doctoral degree or equivalent and not having resided in the country of the recruiting organisation for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately before the appointment.
