About The Role:
The Field Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our robots at client sites. This individual will diagnose and repair hardware failures, collaborate with our team, and provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair hardware failures on our robots in a safe and timely manner.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical teammates to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide excellent customer service, representing Relay Robotics professionally at all times.
- May assist with field projects and new robot deployments as needed.
- Develop expertise in servicing and maintaining our robot hardware through paid training and hands-on experience.
Requirements:
- Strong foundation in hardware assembly and disassembly.
- Background in building and/or modifying computer hardware and small electronics.
- Proficient in using digital collaboration tools, such as Slack and Google Meet/Hangouts.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Fluent in German and English.
