As part of our Global Supply Planning team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless supply chain operations between internal supply planning and external contract manufacturing partners. This role involves demand planning, capacity management, inventory optimization, and coordination with key stakeholders to ensure product availability while maintaining efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Main Responsibilities:
- Set up, maintain, monitor, and analyze master & transactional data related to the centralized operational planning of finished goods short and mid-term, ensuring reliable and efficient material and document flows.
- Assess and release purchase orders (MRP job-based or manual) to suppliers worldwide, tracking and monitoring resulting global make-to-stock/make-to-order replenishments.
- Develop and manage short-term and long-term supply plans in alignment with demand forecasts, ensuring contract manufacturers meet required service levels.
- Act as the single point of contact and communicate effectively with internal & external stakeholders regarding short-term product availability and management of events that impact regular supply.
- Coordinate with Demand Planning, Procurement, and Operations teams to balance demand and supply constraints.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in supply planning, demand planning, or supply chain management - ideally in a highly regulated industry such as Pharma, Medical Devices, Life Sciences, or Chemical.
- Experience working with CMOs and external suppliers is a prerequisite.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain principles, including demand planning, inventory management, and production scheduling.
