THE POSITION These are your key tasks: - Manage (Azure & AWS) cloud environments in accordance with company guidelines. - Collaborate with our engineering and product teams to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions. - Providing 2nd and 3rd level support for areas under responsibility, by responding to incidents and service requests. - Install, configure, maintain, monitor, and continuously optimise cloud solutions in the area of cloud computing, storage, backup, infrastructure as a code, automation and other cloud related technologies, for FIFA’s corporate and event environments. - Designing, building and managing highly secure, scalable and available architectures. - Participation in cross departmental projects as cloud expert. - Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance. The specific competencies we require for this position are: - Minimum of 8 years overall IT experience and minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role. - Proven track‑record in managing complex Azure and AWS infrastructure. - Experience migrating workloads from On‑premises to the cloud. - Experience in the Sports industry is an advantage. - University degree or similar higher education, in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field. - Azure and AWS certifications preferred. - In depth understanding of Azure and AWS services. - Experience using Azure DevOps and other DevOps tools. - Expertise in Infrastructure as a code using Terraform is a must. - Experience in Automating Infrastructure deployment. - Strong PowerShell scripting skills. - Familiarity with database services. - Ability to anticipate, identify and define problems, as well as excellent troubleshooting skills. - Excellent planning, documentation, and organisational skills. - Keen to learn new technologies and adaptable to constant changes. - Social and team player.
