As an Operations Supervisor/Account Specialist for our well-known client based in Neuchâtel, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless execution of operational activities in alignment with ALT study planning. Your responsibilities will include recruitment, team management, and personnel development while maintaining a focus on operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

- Recruitment and onboarding: manage the full recruitment cycle, including onboarding, promotions, and off-boarding.
- Team management:

- Ensure testing activities are properly planned and executed on time as per the requested protocol

- Monitor improvement through KPIs and report metrics to management

- Ensure that critical deviations are solved and define corrective actions

- Review/approve Design of Experiments, sampling instructions and any other procedures

- Laboratory Accuracy:

- Ensure materials and finished products are available for testing activities and reported in related systems to ensure fiscal, custom and finance requirements

- Participate in the creation/review of procedures, work instructions, methods and other Quality Documents that are required

- Organize the Calibration, Qualification and Maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results

- HR & administrative responsibilities:

- carry out administrative tasks, including payroll support and holiday payments

- communicate and implement disciplinary actions as needed

- conduct employee and client satisfaction surveys

- prepare evaluations for work certificates

- Training and compliance:

- define training needs for the team and oversee the induction process

- ensure temporary workers comply with 5S practices and EHS directives

- Ad hoc support: demonstrate agility to address evolving business needs

- Required onsite presence: 5 days a week (negotiable to 4 days a week after first year)

Qualifikationen

We are seeking a dynamic professional with the following qualifications and skills.

- Experience: proven experience in Operations, HR, or team management, preferably in a testing laboratory or technical environment

- Leadership skills: strong ability to manage and develop diverse teams, monitor performance, and implement disciplinary actions effectively

- Organizational skills: proficiency in planning, resource allocation, and managing shift rosters

- HR expertise: a solid understanding of recruitment processes, onboarding, training, personnel management, and experience with performance metrics, absenteeism, and turnover analysis

- French & English fluent (C1 level)

- Tools and compliance: Excel skills, familiarity with Easymission or similar systems, along with a strong commitment to good laboratory practices (5S) and EHS standards

- Adaptability: agile mindset to address unexpected business requirements effectively.
