This role is part of the Workforce Optimization (WFO) Area of Practice within our Integrated Workforce Strategies Chapter in People & Culture. The team is redefining the way Roche shapes its Workforce.

By applying data-driven, skill-based workforce planning solutions and serving as trusted partners in workforce strategy development, we unlock the strategic potential of our total workforce (including our external partners). We navigate the evolving business landscape to shape Roche’s workforce for the future. The Opportunity

As a key member of the Workforce Optimization team, you will be responsible for implementing and evolving our technology landscape to maximize our delivery of Workforce Optimization solutions across Roche’s businesses. You will support the evolution of our overarching vision & strategy for insights and tech and collaborate closely with our cross-functional partners:

- you are enhancing our technology landscape for workforce insights, workforce planning and tech interoperability in close collaboration with the WFO Insights & Technology Partners and cross-functional experts

- you ensure a good understanding of business needs, you translate them into data and technology requirements and actively contribute that our WFO products are data-driven, skills-based and technology-enabled

- you stay ahead of technology trends in the market, proactively plan how to serve and budget for technology needs and are building an external network of practitioners to learn from & connect products to external best practices

- you prioritize engaged, easy and effective product design, which integrates to other frameworks & products across Roche, maximizes value and is enabled by technology

- you build you are actively contributing with ideas, feedback and sensing to the further evolution of our products, and/or to our roadmap to build and scale our practice, e.g. regarding data integration, automation and technology advancements

- you might contribute to business projects in the area of Workforce Optimization, as time allows

Who you are

- You hold a Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, IT or a similar field, with experience in matrixed, global, and strategic settings within People & Culture and/or the Finance/Procurement/IT

- You are skilled in translating business requirements into technology use cases/vision. You understand possibilities and limitations of technology

- You have experience in supporting workforce planning, people strategies, and change management

- Ideally, you excel at translating data into actionable solutions and addressing complex problems with your strong consulting skills, your analytical thinking and/or experience in programming languages (e.g. R, Python) or building planning models

- You are capable of making informed decisions regarding product/technology features and effectively influence and engage stakeholders, navigate ambiguity and adapt to diverse needs, contributing to positive customer experience

- You effectively collaborate and lead cross-functional teams, providing clear direction and facilitating decision-making, and have strong motivation, a collaborative style, high social competence, and fluency in English to work across global time zones.
