A large international group is seeking a senior leader to head its global Insurance & Risk Management function. Reporting to a Group Executive, this role is responsible for defining and executing the organisation's worldwide insurance and risk transfer strategy. Key Responsibilities - Lead enterprise-wide risk assessments and design global insurance programmes - Develop and implement risk transfer solutions, including captive-related structures - Manage relationships with brokers, insurers, and external risk partners - Advise senior leadership on risk mitigation and resilience strategy - Oversee global insurance renewals, policy structures, and claims management - Optimise total cost of risk and manage the insurance budget - Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Security, and Operations - Lead and develop a small specialist team Profile - 15+ years' experience in corporate insurance and risk management - Proven leadership and people management experience - Strong expertise in global insurance programmes and risk transfer - Experience with captives strongly preferred - Strategic, analytical, and commercially minded The Opportunity A high-impact, senior role with group-level exposure, offering autonomy, strategic influence, and the chance to shape global risk and insurance strategy within a complex international organisation.
