Your mission - Contribute to the teaching in Biotechnology - Provide supervision, instruction, and mentorship to students throughout their educational journey - Undertake R&D projects and industrial assignments within the Institute of Life Sciences - Participate in the acquisition of R&D project mandates Your profile - PhD in Bioprocess Engineering or related field; a minimum of 5 years of work experience, academia and industry, in process development, biotechnological production or a related field - Demonstrated background in biopharmaceutics, downstream processing and process engineering - Proven proficiency in programming with a focus on scientific programming, as well as design and analysis of experiments - Prior experience in project management, R&D project acquisition is highly appreciated - Considered advantageous: experience in molecular biology, formulation, teaching, and a solid publication track record - Fluent in English, proficiency in either French or German Employment: 80-100% Place of work: Sion Starting date: 1 June 2026 or to be agreed upon For further information please contact Birgit Sievert, Head of Life Science Engineering (birgit.sievert(α)hevs.ch).
