Your mission - Contribute to the teaching of organic and general chemistry - Provide supervision, instruction and mentorship to students throughout their educational journey - Undertake R&D projects and industrial assignments within the Institute of Life Sciences - Participate in the acquisition of R&D project mandates Your profile - PhD in Chemistry, Life Sciences or related field - A minimum of 5 years of professional experience, in industry or academia,in the field of biomolecule chemistry - Demonstrated expertise in the synthesis of biomolecules such as peptides, oligonucleotides, oligosaccharides, etc. - Strong skills in the analytics of biomolecules using instrumental techniques such as mass spectrometry - Experiencein the use and development of digital tools would be a plus - Considered advantageous: experience in teaching and in R&D project development - Fluentin German and English,proficiencyin French Employment: 80-100% Place of work: Sion Starting date: 1 June 2026 or to be agreed upon For further information please contact Birgit Sievert, Head of Life Science Engineering (birgit.sievert(α)hevs.ch).
