Your contribution to KPMG - Take on the technical responsibility for advising our customers on the introduction and application of various accounting standards such as IFRS, Swiss GAAP FER, US GAAP or Code of Obligations - Independently take responsibility for large projects and take care of the deployment and guidance of your project team - Actively support CFOs or Group Accounting Heads in the interpretation on accounting and financial reporting issues - Work on IPO Readiness Assessments and provide M&A support; you are also part of the team in the context of comfort letter projects for capital market transactions - Analyze complex accounting-related issues, respond to technical inquiries and add value for our customers through your accounting expertise - Educate yourself independently in the area of the latest developments in order to maintain your knowledge advantage and to proactively serve the customer with relevant news - Maintain existing customer relationships and continuously expand your network and actively support the team in acquiring new customers as well as accounting advisory services engagements This is what makes you successful - Degree as a certified public accountant or local equivalent is an advantage - Many years of practical experience in the BIG4 environment or in Group Accounting / Controlling of an international company - Solid knowledge of IFRS and/or Swiss GAAP FER are essential.
