Hours: Part time, 10 – 30 hours per week Hourly rate: Pay starts at $13/hr Crew Member Position Summary: Provides customers with outstanding, friendly service in a timely manner, and handles orders accurately and efficiently. - Hands-on store setting - Work area includes food, knives, slippery floors, and cold environments - Constant interaction with employees and customers Experience: Some experience in retail or food service preferred but not required. Responsibilities: - Maintain product knowledge - Keep the store clean and sanitized, especially your work area - Communicate with team members about product quality, shortages, and customer feedback - Properly portion products, beverages, and supplies - Restock paper and packaged items as needed - Assemble and package orders accurately for take-out - Ring up orders and make change accurately - Perform shift duties as assigned by management Crew Member Requirements: - Bend, stoop, and reach to receive inventory, stock, serve customers, and clean - Stand and walk on a hard surface for up to 8 hours per day - Basic computer skills - Ability to read company materials (recipes, charts, training materials) - Complete Oberweis orientation and training If applying in IL, you must provide proof of food handler certification or obtain one within 30 days of hire (cost around $9.95).
