Rehabilitation Consultant This role supports claimants on their journey back to work through tailored wellbeing support and occupational rehabilitation programs. You’ll also partner with our life claims teams, offering expert advice and training to help create a smoother, more positive claims experience for both Zurich and our customers. As our product offerings evolve, you may also contribute to other product lines such as TPD Assist. TPD Assist includes occupational rehabilitation support to help members improve their ability to work. You’ll be part of a caring, future-focused team, where your expertise will help guide and empower individuals as they navigate significant life changes. If you are adaptable, empathetic, and passionate about helping others achieve brighter outcomes, we’d love to hear from you Responsibilities - Support claimants on their journey back to work through tailored wellbeing support and occupational rehabilitation programs. - Partner with life claims teams to provide expert advice and training to improve the claims experience for Zurich and customers. - Contribute to other product lines as needed, such as TPD Assist. Qualifications - Tertiary qualifications in Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or Rehabilitation Counselling; current registration with AHPRA or ASORC/RCAA is highly valued. - Proven experience in occupational rehabilitation, ideally gained at an occupational rehabilitation provider. - Familiarity with personal illness and injury schemes, including life insurance, workers compensation, CTP, DVA, or similar programs. - Excellent communication skills—you’re able to persuade, influence, and build rapport, while clearly sharing specialist knowledge to help others grow. - Advanced problem-solving abilities to support sound recommendations and manage escalations effectively. - A practical approach to understanding instructions, analysing issues, and providing clear, straightforward advice. - Strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to build trust and maintain positive relationships at all levels, while demonstrating professionalism and customer focus. - Encourages a culture of innovation, inspiring others to think differently and challenge the status quo for a brighter future together.
