Applications are now open for the CERN Origin Programme for the 2025 session. A fully funded early-career program by CERN (the European Council for Research) offers an incredible opportunity to early-career professionals from CERN member or Associate member states to develop technical skills, knowledge, and expertise at one of the leading European Research centers. The program is exclusively designed for early-career professionals holding a general secondary education, diploma, or University graduates holding a bachelor’s or master’s degree in technical or support services such as HR, Finance, International Relations, Law, etc. The duration of the CERN Origin programme is typically 6-24 months, which is extendable up to 36 months. The objective of the origin programme is to equip the next generation of future leaders with scientific, technical, and administrative skills. This is your chance to kick-start your early career with one of the renowned scientific research centers in Geneva. Read more details about the program below. The program offers a wide range of benefits, which include: - A monthly stipend of 4500 Swiss Francs per month - Travel Expenses to and from Geneva - 30 Days paid leave per year - An employment contract of 6 months, 24 months, or up to 36 months - Applicants will be placed in CERN, Geneva, where the quality of life begins Program Areas The programme is being offered in the area related to: - Technical - Support Services such as HR, Finance, IR (International Relations), Law, etc Eligibility Criteria: Applicants meeting the following criteria are eligible to apply for the CERN Origin programme: - Holding the nationality of a CERN Member or Associate Member state - Applicants holding a university degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s) or a General Secondary education diploma - Have graduated within the last 2 years at the time of application - Possesses less than 2 years of post-graduation work experience - Previously did not participate in the CERN program in a similar capacity - Proficiency in English or French language Ineligiblity - Applicants are not nationals of CERN or Associate member states - Already participated in the CERN program - Possesses more than 2 years of post-graduation work experience Required Documents: The following documents must be in French or English: - An updated resume or CV aligned with the project - A motivation letter (explaining how your profile fits CERN) - Copies of degree transcripts (Bachelor, or Master’s) How to Apply for the CERN Origin Programme?
