Client:
An international group specializing in providing packaging quality inspection solutions for the pharmaceutical, medical device, and food industries.
Position:
We are looking for a motivated engineer with a technical background. Ideally, you have a first experience in automation, a solid grasp of basic physical principles, and excellent interpersonal skills.
This role requires a high degree of technical independence and regular travel within Europe (50 % travel on site during weekdays).
Responsibilities:
- Install and set up the machines at customer facilities across Europe
- Execute operational qualification (OQ) protocols to ensure performance standards
- Provide comprehensive training to customers on machine operation and maintenance
- Diagnose and repair technical issues, either onsite or remotely via video support
- Develop and optimize test methods by analyzing and adjusting machine parameters
Profile:
- A degree in engineering and technical training in fields such as mechatronics, automation, or microtechnology
- Knowledge of PLC programming.
- Previous experience in packaging, metrology, or quality assurance.
- A willingness to travel regularly for short periods
- Exceptional communication and customer relationship skills
- Proficiency in English at a professional level (C1 or higher)
- An asset: fluency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish, German, or Slavic languages).
