About the position of Manager Finance, Legal & HR at Eurapco
As the Manager Finance, Legal & HR you will hold the operational responsibility for overseeing all accounting activities throughout the month, including the preparation of quarterly financial statements and annual reports, supported by the Accounting Specialist who you will be managing.

In addition, you will advise the management on legal matters, liaising with legal experts if necessary. Furthermore, you will be responsible for corporate governance matters, such as the organisation of shareholders’ meetings and keeping the commercial register up-to-date.

On the HR side, you will be responsible for the on- and offboarding of employees, including employment contracts and organising work permits for our expats.

Ideally, we are looking for an allrounder with general knowledge in finance & accounting as well as legal and HR matters.

As Manager Finance, Legal & HR you will be reporting directly to the General Manager of Eurapco.

Key responsibilities

  • Overseeing all accounting activities, including the monitoring of budget, preparation of quarterly financial statements, annual reports and annual tax return and enclosures
  • Providing advice to the Management as well as Board of Directors on financial, legal, and HR matters
  • Reviewing legal documents, contracts and agreements and drafting of employment contracts, ensuring proper on-/off-boarding of Eurapco employees including expats
  • Ensuring compliance of the company with relevant laws and regulation and managing financial and legal risks and working to mitigate these risks
  • Acting as Company Secretary, including the organisation of general meetings of shareholders, the maintenance of the commercial register, shareholders’ register and the maintenance of shareholders’ documents

Education and experience

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Law or Business Administration from a Swiss or European University
  • General knowledge of accounting as well as Swiss and/or EU corporate and labour law
  • Ca. 10 years of professional experience in finance and accounting and a good general understanding of legal and HR matters
  • Experience with financial reporting software
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in German and English
