Your role**:
By joining Avaloq, you’ll become a key part of our effort to power the digital transformation of the financial services industry. Our ambition is big and bold - to provide full end-to-end digital solutions by combining our leading efficiency with a flexible, responsible digital user experience.

You join a highly motivated and dynamic team which is passionate about searching, strategizing and exploring growth opportunities for Avaloq. For this role, we are looking for a new colleague who will help us to position Avaloq as the centrepiece in the credit management functions of our clients.

With your unique blend of strategy, business and technology skills you will be the responsible for all what relates to Avaloq's offerings in the area of credit and loans. You will be managing the existing credit functionality part of our products, define its evolution and drive the strategy for the entire future credit value chain from inception to operations. For doing this, you will be supported by a team of experts that have deep know-how of the technical aspects, our current and future targets in term of client segments, geographical focus and envisioned channels, and our vision for the overall product portfolio.

**This is what it boils down to (what we expect you to do)**
- Define the target credit solution landscape, based on consolidated business cases, in relation to a standard offering for Avaloq client communities and target markets
- Instruct educated “Make or Buy” decisions for the target solution components, based on solid functional and commercial basis
- Focus on innovative offering, like self servicing, credit market platforms, vertical composition/decomposition of the credit value chain, digitalization, continuously gathering input from clients and markets
- Participate to the yearly and mid-term global Avaloq planning exercise for the credit evolution part
- Support sales for the standard offering to specific clients and/or communities

Qualifications**
What you need to bring to the table**
- Around 5 years of experience in a similar role, either in a financial institution or a solution provider
- Profound knowledge of the credit business (at least 3 years with credit specific functional analysis mandates)
- Ability to communicate concepts and proposals in an efficient way at any level of the Avaloq and client organization (from C-level to operational level) and be recognized as a true expert in the credit area
- Good interpersonal skills, useful to be effective in a complex organization like Avaloq and Avaloq network of vendors and clients

- Additional languages (German, French, Italian)
- Know-how on credit risk management theory and prudential regulatory framework (Basel committee)
