SWI swissinfo.ch publishes both background and up-to-date reports in ten languages using a variety of media. The information platform is aimed at an international audience and at Swiss citizens living abroad, and reaches over 80% of internet users around the world.

**Your mission**: As an
- **online journalist** in the field of
- **federal policy and direct democracy**, your tasks will include the following:
- You will play an active role in building up a community abroad, e.g., by distributing your own material and that of SWI swissinfo.ch, both directly and indirectly.
- Furthermore, you will provide services within the English language team by adapting stories from the other language departments, preparing news briefs at the news desk, discussing with our users on social media or preparing content for publication on the website.

**Your profile**:

- You have several years of experience in digital media.
- You know very well Swiss politics, their institutions and processes.
- Ideally, you bring your network of key contacts within Swiss politics.
- You carry out thorough and critical research, and you examine and question your information and sources very closely.
- You are confident in the use of SEO and are familiar with the concept of usability.
- You are a team player and enjoy working with colleagues from different cultures.
- English is your mother tongue, and you master at least one of the Swiss national languages.
- You are highly committed and able to work independently
