Hse Manager

We are currently looking for a** HSE Manager **to our department of Infrastructure & Facilities in **Grenchen**. The position will report to the Global Head of Facilities & HSE.

You will be in charge for developing, implementing, and overseeing policies and programs. You ensure a safe and environmentally compliant workplace. You manage risk assessments, investigate incidents, communicate, and provide training to our squad members, to ensure compliance and a culture of safety within Breitling is lived.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Lead the development of HSE policies and guidelines. You will assist management in defining Breitling's roles and responsibilities in all aspects of safety
- Ensure that the policies and guidelines are updated and reviewed in accordance with company policy
- Monitor the implementation of the procedures of the safety and environmental system and ensure that they are updated in accordance with changes in legislation and company policy
- Inform our team members about the HSE Action Plan, motivate them to comply with it and inform them about the safety equipment provided
- Promote safety, health, and environmental improvements, working closely with production and sustainability colleagues
- Analyze accident and incident statistics, assess risks, identify trends, and propose improvements
- Be responsible for leading and participating in internal audits and preparing Breitling for external audits
- Organize and lead training sessions and continuously develop training content based on new standards and regulations
- Develop the environmental management system, in alignment with the sustainability department
- Ensure Breitling complies with all regulations and offers squad members a safe working environment, with your good occupational hygiene knowledge Be in charge of administrative tasks: including the preparation of HSE documentation and reports, of employee surveys and of HSE-related investments in coordination with the local Facility Manager / Office Manager.

**Your profile**:

- You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a very good know-how of health and safety policies, emergency protocols (experienced in identifying errors, adjusting protocols and equipment maintenance), with good project management skills
- You have a bachelor degree in a related field of HSE but not a must
- Ideally, you have completed the SUVA training as a specialist ASGS/STPS
- You have a very good knowledge of Swiss regulations in the field of HSE and experience in dealing with different cantonal authorities
- You are comfortable working with different teams/departments
- You are an organized person and a good communicator
- You speak fluently French and ideally also German, and you have strong English command
- You have good skills with the Microsoft Suite & Planner
