ROLE

As a UX Design Lead, you ensure that our users have a modern, intuitive, and simple experience when using any of our digital products. You make sure they perceive Pexapark as a coherent, top-notch and highly professional software suite - we should be recognizable as the most important commercial toolset for actors on renewable energy markets. We absolutely want the design of our software to have a wow-effect, and you’re the one making this happen

Reporting to the VP-Product, you will be in charge of the user experience of all our software and digital properties, and will be working closely with business, engineering and marketing to create a unique brand experience.

Tasks
- Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features
- Facilitate the client’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products
- Be involved early in the conception of new features and aid their development by driving the design process
- Lead and own user research function and customer journey mapping for all product designs
- Own and define Pexapark’s product design principles
- The person is expected to be able to roll up sleeves and actively solve design and user experience problems
- Understand design research practices and interpret research insights into actionable design solutions, participate in usability testing to identify design pitfalls and create solution providing seamless user experience.
- Utilize design techniques such as information architecture, service blueprints and customer journey mapping to create original and unique features.
- Work in agile environment and collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to iterate, refine and implement design solutions
- Make sure Pexapark is recognized for its ecosystem of powerful and innovative products allowing it to remain a top-of-the-market software provider
- Make the Pexapark user experience as recognizable, modern and professional as the ones from successful digital companies such as Google, Apple and Facebook. While we provide highly specialized business to business tools, we also want to sell software that is simply beautiful

**Requirements**:

- At least 5 years’ experience as a user experience designer
- Proven track record of creating exceptional user experiences demonstrated by a versatile portfolio
- Self-starter with a strong drive to make the vision a reality
- Excellent English language skills
- High degree of self-motivation
- Be willing to travel between our locations occasionally
- Team player who enjoys working with others
- Legal eligibility to work in CH or UK
- A good sense of humour
