As an Associate Scientist in the Food Materials Science group of our Science Team, you will do research in the field of plant-based foods.

**Your mission**:

- Creating new prototypes for novel plant-based food products in the laboratory.
- Managing and organizing science and development projects at the interface of materials science, food science, biotechnology, and processing.
- Actively contributing to scientific projects.
- Helping to establish new structuring technologies for plant-based foods.
- Optimizing scientific practices by continuously questioning the current state.
- Keeping up and informing others about the current scientific and patent literature.
- Bridging science and product development.

**You are**:

- a self-driven person with a higher education with a focus on soft materials in food science.
- comfortable working in the laboratory on a daily basis, creating new prototypes, optimizing formulations, setting up tastings, analytical tests, and implementing feedback.
- comfortable with working under pressure, realizing unconventional scientific ideas, and handling unfamiliar situations and deadlines.
- knowledgeable in the areas of food processing.
- enthusiastic about working with plant-based meat and food in general.
- a team player and responsibility-taker with an entrepreneurial mindset and a high level of independence.
- creative and have a flexible mindset.
- a high performer with a keen perception and willingness to go the extra mile.
- allowed to work in Switzerland (valid work permit).
