In this role you will be responsible for Trade Compliance in our LPG in Quartino.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Provide guidance and operational support to the LPC (production unit) regarding customs, origin, export control and international sanction regulations (“Trade Compliance”), challenge, develop and improve processes of LPG’s customs procedures, origin management, sanction lists screening, dual-use classification and export controls.
- Ensure the implementation of ABB’s Trade Compliance Program and its internal directives (CRLI05, CHALI30) in the LPG.
- Prepare, improve and communicate instructions, guidelines and training regarding Trade Compliance in the LPG in accordance with the guidelines provided by Country-TCO.
- Contribute to and manage internal (local) and external audits (customs)
- Develop and carry out internal checks (internal control system) on trade compliance aspects (incoterms, HS codes, export control, sanctions screening, critical assessments, preferential origin aspects, import and export efficiency)
- Transport & Logistics: Support LPG to ensure goods are shipped whilst meeting quality, legal and cost parameters. Develop, maintain and improve transport/ logistics processes to optimize inbound and outbound delivery to external and internal clients

**Your background**:

- Compliance/Integrity and/or customs background preferred
- proven track record in customs tariffing, origin, customs procedures
- Very good knowledge of Swiss free trade agreements with EU and EFTA / FHA
- Proactive, independent, and solution-oriented team player, flexible, motivated
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Experience in trade compliance matters
- project management and matrix leadership
- Willingness to learn
- SAP and SAP GTS experiences
- Knowledge in Transport, Trade and Logistics
