**About the Role**
We are looking for a driven Product Owner in Switzerland who helps us build, enhance, and operate the Back End part of our B2B2C platform. This section comprises the customer journeys for all partners and products (within Quote & Bind domain). In the role a deep understanding of the vision, business model and strategy needs to be developed as well as a sufficient technical understanding of the regarding part of the platform. Based on this understanding the Product Owner should work as a link between the development team and the various business functions - not only in a technical sense, but also mentality wise. It is important to ensure that high level views are properly translated into concrete actions as well as that the state of the maturity level of the platform is communicated effectively to the management.
Your responsibilities:
**Requirements engineering** - making sure business requirements are properly understood, documented and communicated to developers**Stakeholder management** - contributing to define the product vision by communicating with all relevant functions including business managers and the development team to make sure the goals are clear**Product backlog management** - helping to maintain the product backlog by creating backlog items and ensuring they are prioritized based on the overall strategy and business objectives**Process enhancement** - helping to maintain and to improve agile processes in order to improve effectiveness and efficiency in the domain team. Including evaluating progress and supporting each product iteration by coordinating and engaging in planning, refinement, review, and sprint daily activities**Driving progress of sub-projects / topics** - managing independently sub-projects and making sure respective development goals are achieved in time and pre-defined quality**Analytics support** - ensuring that for every process / functionality the relevant events and metrics are propagated to defined systems in order to facilitate the business analytics process
**About You**- At least 2 - 4 years working experience- Experience with agile methodology (preferably as business analyst, product owner, scrum master or consultant)- Insurance industry experience (preferably in primary insurance P&C) and / or background in successfully delivering IT projects (including Master / Bachelor in IT, Business IT, Business Administration or Finance)- Hands-on mentality, strong solution orientation and empathy (ability to collaborate effectively with team members, express leadership, supporting your views and ideas while being open to different opinions)- Ability to adapt, adjust and multi-task in a fast-paced environment combined with a proactive
- mentality- Ability to work in a multi-cultural, distributed team within Europe. Fluency in English is a basic requirement and basic knowledge in one other language (preferably Dutch, German, Italian, French or Spanish)- Skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, Confluence and / or other agile project management tools are a plus
