What’s the scope?

Reporting into the Merchandising Director the Merchandiser Wrangler Women briefs, assort and manages a consumer and market focused regional product offer in line with the overall Brand strategy to meet or exceed overall corporate financial requirements

Your responsibilities as our Merchandiser Wrangler Women ;

Strategy
- Contribute to the regional long term merchandising plan/ strategy ( product / platform long term plan). Work closely with Merchandising Director to identify strategic business opportunities and inform EMEA strategic plan.

Product Direction
- Brief the product needs to ensure the regional business plans are met
- Identify carry-overs and brief updates to the Global Merch Team (life cycle management)
- Analyse product performance to evaluate strengths and weaknesses to aid future line development and utilize past season sales, product performance data, current marketplace information and trends to define product strategies.
- Attend regular meetings with Account Managers / Accounts to ensure full awareness of market needs in terms of line structure, product requirements, pricing architecture, distribution, competitive activity and important operational issues
- Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research

Product Creation
- Assort the regional line from the global range in line with global merchandising strategy and regional plans
- Product data Regional adoption
- Inform Regional Merch Forecasting at each steps of GTM
- Inform regional pricing in local currencies to ensure the margin targets
- Inform the regional Product / Marketing calendar - brief the regional marketing support needs to Regional Marketing Team

Product launch
- Facilitate regional sales meetings and account meetings
- Drive product penetration in the market
- Effective daily communication with internal department

Manage
- Manage JR Merchant or/and Intern dedicated to Wrangler Women’s business

Administration
- Create and maintain regional documents & systems
- Drive and review product related marketing tools.
- Physical collection ownership.
- Support Merchandise Manager

Skills for Success:

- At least 3 years apparel industry and comprehensive experience
- Fluent in English (written & verbal) any other European language is an advantage.
- Excellent skills in MS office and working knowledge of Illustrator (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of apparel market and market trends, flair for fashion
- Strong communication skills & presentation skills & strategic thinking
- Team player and result oriented
- Self-motivated and result driven
- Ability to work under pressure and set priorities accordingly - splendid time management skills
- Analytical thinking and problem solving
