Kalrez® laboratory technician

to reinforce the DuPont Precision Parts & Solutions team in European Technical Center. This business focus on delivering high-performance parts that provide sealing, wear and friction solutions in the aerospace, energy, industrial, transportation, and the electronics industries.

Role and responsibilities:
Part of the Kalrez® and Vespel® technology organization, the laboratory technician will:

- Manage analytical service request for the Kalrez® technology team including, global research & development team as well as EMEA technical service team.
- Provide expertise on various analytical test equipment (DSC, TGA, FTIR, TMA, XRF, as well as microscopy and surface analysis equipment).
- Install new test equipment and develop test routine to generate accurate data to support growth development programs.
- Actively collaborate with R&D and TS&D Engineers to develop new technical solutions and to solve customer issues in identified markets.
- Support the establishment of new IP assets for the group.

Your profile:

- Technician or equivalent in Chemistry preferred.
- Experience with analytical testing of elastomer parts.
- Able to manage and prioritize tasks.
- Goal oriented with strong ability to meet timelines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive and team oriented.
- Fluent in French or English, second language is a plus.
- German is a plus.
- Experience with analytical testing of plastics is a plus.
- Experience with elastomer is a plus (compounding, moulding, testing)
