**Category Manager Europe (M/F/d) 80 - 100%**:
**We Elevate... Your Responsibilities**:
As the central contract for all strategic purchasing topics within the Group organization, you are responsible for optimizing the categories of goods and services in terms of quality, reliability, and Total Supply Chain Cost.

Main challenges include:

- Identification of company and business needs as well as support of technical group organizations in defining and introducing new products and processes
- Continuous optimization of purchasing conditions and the procurement process, through market analyses and implementation of new strategies, evaluation of global procurement and raw material market, contract and prize negotiations, as well as supplier and framework discussions
- Support of existing suppliers in terms of costs, quality, and delivery performance
- Identifying cost saving potentials together with the affected group-organizations
- Providing the Group with transparent data and key figures

Further requirements may include:

- Technical education is required; Technical Degree is preferred
- Robust background in purchasing activities with focus on mechanics and mechanical component
- Good Know-how about cost composition and cost drivers for mechanical components
- Experiences in supplier management (cost, deliveries, quality related topics, business strategy)
- Working proficiency in English
