Assistant Scientist Process Development/Scale-up

**Location**: Geneva headquarters, Switzerland (La Plaine)

Key Responsibilities

Develop, optimize and own various processes (extraction, chemistry, biotechnology)

Work in the lab for parameters screening towards process optimization and in the pilot plant for production scale-up

Prepare, analyse & monitor reactions and report/interpret data following lab/pilot plant campaigns

Work closely with upstream Research & Development labs and process safety team

Occasional production of high added value products, interactions with Quality Control

We Value

MA of chemistry, process or chemical engineering, or Bachelor with 3+ years of equivalent experience or technician with 5+ years of experience. Relevant chemical industry experience is a plus.

Hands-on experience in process safety, parameters screening at lab-scale, design of experiment and separation processes

Good knowledge of analytical chemistry and tools handling (e.g. GC-FID/MS, HPLC)

Team player, motivated, creative, able to work independently

Fluent in French and good level of English (C1)
