Detailed Function/Job summary

In this role, you will be part of a dynamic, passionate, committed and geographically distributed team.
The role is based in Zurich.

**Main characteristics of the Graduate Trainee Program**:

- Length of employment on a fix-term contract: 12 months
- Assignment and on-the-job training in different Technical Accounting & Administration Teams in Zurich
- Exposure to different areas of expertise across the company
- Opportunity to work on a transformation project and gain project management experience.
- Chance to develop new processes and procedures and make a real impact on the organization.
- Hands-on experience with data analysis and visualization tools
- Possibility of full-time employment or further career development within the company after the internship
- Appropriate internal off-the-job training and introduction to Reinsurance, network activities, etc.

**Key duties and responsibilities**
- Assist the manager in charge of a transformation project, including organizing project meetings, tracking progress, and preparing project reports.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and other project management artifacts.
- Identify and track project risks and issues and develop mitigation and resolution plans.
- Coordinate project meetings and ensure that action items are tracked and completed.
- Work with project stakeholders to develop and maintain project documentation, including project charters, requirements, and design documents.
- Support the development and implementation of project management processes and methodologies.
- Perform project analysis and provide recommendations to senior management on project-related issues.
- Participate in project status review meetings and provide updates to project sponsors and other stakeholders.
- Ensure that project deliverables are completed on time, within the required level of quality.
- Support the technical accounting team with data analysis and reporting.
- Create and maintain data dashboards using tools like Power Query, Power BI.
- Work with different teams across the company to gain exposure to different areas of expertise such as underwriting, pricing modelling, retrocession.

**Required Education**
- Higher University Degree (Bachelor, Master) in Actuarial Sciences, Finance or similar discipline.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Power Query, Power BI, or Tableau
- Ability to analyses data and draw actionable insights.
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Citizen of EU/EFTA country or eligible to work full-time in Switzerland with respective work permit.
