Warehouse & Distribution Manager

**JOB SUMMARY**:
CPS (Commercial Products Supply) is a key part of the Advantaged Supply Chain of the Technical Function of The Coca-Cola Company. CPS manufactures concentrates and beverage bases for sale to bottling partners all over the world. This global organization manages a network of manufacturing plants in different countries along with office locations (e.g., Atlanta & Drogheda, Ireland). CPS also manages complex additional materials supply chains (e.g., juice, coffee, tea, milk, etc.) on behalf of bottling partners.

This role exists therefore to lead the Warehouse and Distribution team for CPS Conco Eswatini in a highly challenging business environment, to integrate with Global initiatives and distributed work teams to leverage learnings for warehouse improvements and to drive execution of the warehouse strategy for the site.
**KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To contribute to and lead execution of the warehousing strategy for the plant and drive value for the business.
- To manage the day-to-day warehouse operations for the Eswatini site ensuring excellence of the entire flow of processes from Inbound material flow to Finished goods dispatch to customers.
- To manage flow and ensure inventory accuracy for all stock items in all warehouse locations
Ensure that value-added relationships exist between the warehouse team and cross functional teams to leverage and improve processes.
- Ensure Departmental performance goals are met through effectively managing the human, capital, planning, budgetary and other resources.
- Effectively manage department Resources including head count to budget (FTE) to ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and transport companies to plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt/dispatch, order assemble/disassembly of orders for incoming or outgoing goods.
- Use space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, making sure quality, operational, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met.
- Ensure a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these from time to time.
- Ensure to keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate all the time
- Proactively plan future capacity requirements and propose solutions to optimally manage the warehouse operations in view of business requirements from time to time.
- To build people capability for warehouse and ensure a healthy pipeline of potential future leaders in the department.
- Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded.
- Produce regular reports and statistics on a regular defined basis to ensure a scoreboard is in place to drive team functionality for warehouse.
- To oversee and lead the proactive maintenance and operation of warehouse management systems and equipment.
- Ensure full compliance and execution to all applicable programs, regulations, and legislation to ensure no risks for the business operation.
- Drive high standards of compliance and ensuring the function is meeting expectation on Safety, Food safety, Quality Systems, HACCP, Sales and Operations Document Retention, GMP, OE, Internal Auditing program and other such regulations and requirements.

**ANALYSIS, MEASUREMENT AND CONTINOUS IMPROVEMENT**:

- Measure Warehouse key metrics performance vs. goals on a regular basis and present strategies for improvement and sustainability.
- Propose year on year productivity improvements, to optimize the warehouse processes.
- Continuously review the Warehouse team structure and & scope, sustainable capability development, process standardization and systems and measurement and ensure to maintain at an optimal level.
- Ensure CPS warehousing Standards are fully embedded in Conco considering best practices.

**COMPLIANCE & GOVERNANCE**:

- Ensure that all activities are carried out in a way supporting the Company requirements such as KORE, SOX, Quality, Food safety, Environmental and safety standards and all other local/system/international applicable requirements and regulations.
- Routinely audit warehouse and cross functional processes to ensure good control and direction in line with all compliance requirements.
