This expansion position is open as a result of this exciting acquisition.

**Responsibilities**
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory.
- Responsible for purchase order entry in the ERP system, placing orders with suppliers, and working with suppliers to ensure on-time receipts.
- Develop, update, and implement effective sourcing strategies to ensure a continuous supply of quality, competitively priced goods and services.
- Works to establish best, total cost solutions. May coordinate and negotiate corporate contracts for assigned commodities or sourcing projects with the expectation of providing purchase price reductions and establishing purchase pricing.
- Negotiate supply agreements for key indirect goods and services to reduce total cost and improve delivery and quality.
- Actively partner with key internal stakeholders to develop and action cost reduction. Determine and implement improvements to the tactical indirect procurement process.
- Participate in the evaluation and measurement of supplier quality, supplier on-time delivery, and total cost reduction for key indirect goods and services.
- Work in collaboration with internal customers to resolve supplier issues.
- Ability to interface with company and supplier senior management.
- Communicate with suppliers and Accounts Payable through the PO and payment process to resolve issues when necessary.
- Maintain ongoing communications with suppliers and keep current on the integrity and financial health of our suppliers.
- Responsible for accurate and timely reporting of key metrics and measurables. Review, analyze and interpret various reports.
- Ensure all duties are SOX compliant.
- Perform other related duties as required.

**Qualifications**

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Operations Management, Purchasing, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or other related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ purchasing experience. Preference will be given to those with experience in regulated industry, including the medical device, pharma, aerospace, automotive or defense.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of Quality Systems, especially those regulations pertaining to vendors and materials.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Oracle R12 ERP System experience and expertise required
- Demonstrated knowledge of FDA regulations, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and other National and International regulations and standards.
- APICS certification a plus
