Electrician/automatic Technician

**Project**:
For our customer, a large pharmaceutical company based in Kaiseraugst, we are looking for an electrician/automatic technician (M/F/d) for freeze-drying operations.

**Background**:
The modern production plant for parenterals in Kaiseraugst (PKau) is responsible for the production of sterile medicines and supplies the global market with biopharmaceutical medicine products. On the freeze-drying line (GEF), prefabricated solutions are filled aseptically and then lyophilized. The line has its own thawing/freezing and compounding capacities. As an electrician/automatic technician (M/F/d), you are part of the Wertstrom-Speed maintenance team and report to the Technical Unit Lead. In your role, you will work closely with the producing units in the value stream and the local interfaces. The willingness to work across departments is a given. As a team player, you are open to new things, have an agile and creative way of thinking, work in a solution-oriented manner, have an “open mindset” and an “end to end” idea.

**Tasks**:

- Responsible for the electrical availability of the process systems, including production support,
troubleshooting, maintenance
- Responsible for problem solving (first level support)
- Professional elimination of malfunctions that occur on highly automated systems
- First level support for control problems on the process systems
- Identify, analyze and resolve of malfunctions in the process of complex controls
- Assistance in increasing system availability
- Professional and independent implementation of planned maintenance activities
- Support in carrying out format changes on the process systems
- Safe work in a GMP environment, including in the clean room
- GMP-compliant documentation of the carried out Maintenance activities
- Support with validation and qualification activities
- Training employees in dealing with the systems
- Supporting the interfaces, especially operational and automation engineering
- Independent development and execution of smaller system optimizations in compliance with “change management”
- Collaboration and implementation of continuous improvement measures (KVP)
- Cooperation and support in the management of spare and wear parts
- Willingness for shift operation (2-shift operation, 3-shift operation (continuous) and 5-shift operation (fully continuous in the 6/4 model)
- Willingness for on-call duty

**Must Haves**:

- Completed vocational training as an electrician/automatic technician
- At least. 3 years of professional experience, ideally in pharmaceutical production or in a highly regulated environment
- Very good knowledge of control automation technology (PLC/SCADA)
- Safe use of standard PC programs
- Knowledge of the SAP PM module is an advantage
- Knowledge of PLS SIMATIC
PCS 7 would be
an advantage Exact and reliable working methods even under time constraints

Nice to haves:

- Further training to become an automation technician or higher is an advantage
- Possession of a NIV13 industrial electrician license according to SEV is an advantage
- LPS (Lean Production System) knowledge is an advantage
- English is an advantage
