**Linux System Administrator - temporary role starting asap**:
**Your challenges**

The Scientific Computing group in Crop Protection Research is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Linux System Administrator.

Accountabilities:

- Support the local computing infrastructure
- Install, test, debug, and manage scientific research software
- Support the users and resolve technical issues with the usage of software

**Your skills**
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator or equivalent certification and/or equivalent experience as a Linux System Administrator
- Proficiency in software installation, including package managers (rpm/yum/dnf, dpkg, pip), environment managers (conda, environment modules), and builders (make, cmake)
- Experience with HPC job schedulers (e.g., SLURM, SGE, LSF, Torque)
- Solid knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Autonomy and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
