Reservation Manager (M/F)

Region Central Switzerland 100%, Permanent position

Tasks & Challenges
- Responsible for smooth and efficient work flow within the Reservation department in compliance with set standards.
- Ensure a continuous flow of information and respectful collaboration with all other departments (Spa, Front Office, Finance, etc.)
- Leading and managing the Reservation department: conducting trainings, continuous feedback, optimization of processes and procedures, employee appraisals
- Optimisation and increase of room reservations based on the given budget
- Checking room reservations and program planning (spa treatments) of the guests and ensuring correct handling and booking
- Weekly and daily arrival check
- Liaising with accounting department on outstanding and received payments and reporting on commissions
- Ensuring and implementing an optimal guest care before arrival at the highest level, taking into account the wishes, needs and expectations
- Staff planning: efficient preparation of duty and vacation schedules
- Assisting with daily tasks: Accepting and processing reservations using the hotel software program Protel Cloud and RIMS, scheduling guest treatments in the medical spa department according to Chenot Method® specifications in terms of predefined time sequences, as well as taking into account the availability of medical staff using the software program Coffi

Qualifications & Competences
- At least two years of experience as Assistant Reservation Manager / Reservation Supervisor or already first experiences as Reservation Manager in a 5-star hotel
- Degree from a hotel management school or many years of experience in the 5-star hotel industry
- Excellent communication skills in English and German; Russian or French are an advantage
- Passion for service at the highest level
- Structured and organized work and the ability to stay on top of things even in busy situations
- Willingness to exceed expectations and a strong attention to detail
- Team player who leads with positive charisma and maintains a continuous feedback and training culture
- Helpful, friendly and outgoing personality
