We are looking for a junior project manager / data steward to help us drive the following topics:

- Support the Head of the newly established WM Data Management Office in implementing a coherent data management framework across the division
- Coordinate data related topics across WM in close collaboration with data domain owners and our regions/locations
- Implement data artefacts such as:

- data definition, clarification of data ownership, definition of master source
- data lineage, data quality rules, data quality controls
- remediation of data quality gaps, e.g. missing data quality rules and/or controls
- Ensure data is maintained in conformance with the data standards and data principles (correctness, completeness, timeliness)

through reviews of data quality metrics and reports
- Collaborate closely with our sister organization in UBS Switzerland (P&C) as well as the UBS Group Data Management Office

You will strengthen the divisional Data Management Office on those activities and take on responsibility for specific topics and tasks within cross-functional teams. Your role will also involve supporting data domain owners by implementing data artefacts and fostering a data culture and community.

The WM Data Management Office is part of WM Omnichannel Management which is responsible for defining the digital roadmap for UBS Wealth Management with focus on front-ends, channels and the underlying operating model as well as data architecture across all of our markets globally. You will be working as a member of an agile team in our interactive workspace in Zürich, and collaborate with experts among others from UBS Technology, Marketing, IPS, CIO, Legal, Regulatory and external consulting staff. Together with our partners we drive the implementation of our data culture and community to support the digital journey.

**You have**:

- A strong passion for data and analytics
- Experience with data management (lineage, data definition, data quality rules, data quality controls) and interest in further developing skills in the data management area
- Experience with working in multi-functional and global projects
- A hands-on attitude and strong focus on execution
- Aptitude for connecting the dots with stakeholders and strong communication skills
- Ideally educational background on data, e.g. ‘bachelor in data science’
