Lng Trader

**Responsibilities and Tasks**:

- Spot trade LNG activity within the Atlantic basin market
- Develop and manage relationship with LNG counterparts
- Identify new business opportunities
- Interaction with DXT’s Singapore office
- Monitor and understand the LNG market, evaluating physical arbitrage opportunities between different basins
- Understand the European gas market
- Optimize physical transactions to maximise portfolio value
- Manage relationships with European LNG operators
- Liaise with GAS traders, legal, risk, finance, credit, middle and back office teams
- Lead negotiation of contracts and related documentation needed for LNG trading
- Work with the ops team to identify opportunities and ensure the safe delivery of LNG cargos

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 years working experience in LNG commodities trading or origination
- Strong network within LNG trading industry
- Entrepreneurial spirit capable of building fruitful relationships with third parties
- Efficient worker with strong analytical skills and attention for details
- Analytical, comfortable with numbers and able to work under pressure
- Proficiency in English
- Proficiency in other European languages is a plus
