Wellness Director

As Wellness Director, I fully comprehend the vision of Six Senses to help people reconnect with themselves, others and the world around them, including our values of local sensitivity and global sensibility, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, responsible and caring, fun and quirky and pioneering wellness. By embracing the Six Senses vision and values, I will deliver an exceptional experience for guests and develop hosts to be the very best they can be. I will be responsible for results in spa, wellness and coordinate all wellness programs as well as the related training together with human resources team and all respective departments.

As Wellness Director, I will ensure that each wellness offering be it for host or guest reaches its fullest potential.

In this role, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient and effective implementation of Wellness throughout the resort, working side by side with HOD’s, especially on the offerings in the Spa and Fitness facilities to provide exceptional product and service within brand operating standards.

By keeping abreast of industry trends and practices and updating knowledge and skills to improve the product and service offering, I will continually focus on the rejuvenation of the health and wellness experience. Wellness offerings, Spa treatments, exercise classes and fitness facilities and equipment will be constantly assessed to remain relevant and in keeping with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices. In addition, I will arrange and conduct workshops and lectures for both hosts and guests on relevant health and wellness topics.

My constant interaction with and provision of support to and communication with other departments is intrinsic to the smooth functioning of the operation. I will perform any additional duties given to me by the General Manager. **Qualification **: To execute the position of Wellness Director, I confirm that I have the required qualifications ideally in Wellness/Hotel Management, technical skills and at least five years’ experience in a similar or greater role in luxury wellness, spas and fitness facilities with proven results.

I am a personally involved, visible and proactive leader with excellent organizational skills, capable of providing focused direction and continuing to establish the property’s prominent position in Wellness within the market. I possess a well-developed capability for strategic decision-making and a track record of proven results in the areas of guest satisfaction, operational excellence, host satisfaction, revenue and profit.

In terms of Wellness, Spa and Fitness facilities, I have an intuitive sense of product and service quality, a passion for excellence and an understanding of the sophisticated needs of the luxury guest. My technical expertise includes a sound knowledge of healing therapies, spa treatments, beauty products, wellness traditions and fitness.

I have a solid understanding of the latest trends and techniques in the health and wellness market, plus the ability to promote and sell products and treatments.

I possess exceptional guest relationship skills, particularly in communicating with the high-end luxury traveler.
