**Druckfachmann (m/w)**
for our Research & Development department within the BU ”Liquid Food Packaging“**Tasks and responsibilities**- You will also provide technical support to customers according to financial, technical and timing expectations, as well as assisting the Account Manager in continuous improvements, documenting issues, building trial plans and supporting trials. Estimated 20% travel to customer, 80% lab/office-based.- Lab-scale manufacturing and testing of UV and EB offset inks.
- Prepare customer product approvals by creation of risk assessments & trial plans.
- Attend and report on product trials at the customer.
- Technical follow-up through telco and physical meetings with customer.
- Ensure tasks tracking tool is updated with new tasks and record tasks in Ink Portal.
- Support Account Manager on follow-ups of issue resolutions, investigate claims & complaints, with lab work as required, and issue internal NCR’s (non-conformance reports).
- Propose product customisation to meet specific needs, respecting specific HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) requirements. Maintain the integrity of our product portfolio.
- Support internal partners such as the Supply Chain Management (SCM), QC and Industrialisation teams to ensure product quality.
- Train customers in best practice in handling inks and additives.
- Propose product improvement/development based on customer needs.
- Technical watch to anticipate our customers future or new needs.
- Participate in laboratory activities (working conditions maintenance, lab equipment maintenance, cleaning, respect of local safety rules).
**Qualifications**
- Successful completion of education as a printer, web offset preferred (Rollenoffsetdrucker)
- Several years of relevant professional experience within the printing ink industry
- Understanding of LEAN problem solving methodologies
- Excellent team worker, autonomous and well organised
- Bilingual in English and German is a must
- Good knowledge in MS-Office and SAP is an advantage
