The predoctoral fellow receives an appointment of one to two years and will work closely with Prof. Ferrari on several projects on
_Firm behavior and supply chains fragility._
**Your responsibilities**: The position offers an opportunity to gain first-hand experience in carrying out and developing cutting-edge theoretical and empirical research.
We are looking for a person who enjoys independent problem-solving and thrives on taking high-level directional advice and then running with this advice as far as possible. A willingness to work hard, be self-motivated and learn will be essential for doing well in this position.
Very good oral and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of German is not required.

The predoctoral position is a full-time commitment, combines research work with learning activities and is ideal for a recent graduate who is interested in going on to do a PhD in Economics.
**Place of work**: Schönberggasse 1, Zürich, Switzerland
**Start of employment**: Employment start date: earliest August 2023, latest October 2024. Flexible start.
Length of commitment: The appointment will be for one year and can be extended by an additional year.
The end of this position is in summer/fall 2024.
