Lindt & Sprüngli International is looking for a Human Rights & Social Impact Manager to join the Group Sustainability team in the company’s Headquarter in Kilchberg, Switzerland. This role will report directly to the Head of the Group Sustainability Department which oversees the Lindt & Sprüngli Sustainability strategy.
The Human Rights & Social Impact Manager will lead the Group-wide risk-based human rights due diligence and provide strategic guidance to the business in the areas of business and human rights and other social topics.

IN THIS ROLE YOUR MAIN TASKS WILL BE TO:

- Design and own the strategy, policies and implementation plan for group-wide risk-based human rights due diligence
- Monitor regulatory developments, global standards developments and competitor practices related to human rights and other social topics and ensure, together with accountable business functions and Group Legal Affairs, that Lindt & Sprüngli’s strategy and activities respect human rights and mitigate legal, regulatory, reputational, and operational risks to the business
- Annually assess human rights risks and impacts
- Coordinate the implementation of the human rights policy across subsidiaries and business units together with the cross-functional Human Rights Working Group which you chair (i.e. define priority workstreams, support road mapping and resource planning; develop guidance or tools)
- Oversee and review performance of social targets and action plans of the Lindt & Sprüngli Sustainability Plan and support the accountable business functions with improvements
- Coordinate and oversee Group-level regulatory and voluntary human rights disclosures and non-financial reporting along with the Human Rights Working Group, Controlling, and Communications (e.g. Corporate Human Rights Benchmark, GRI) and support local subsidiaries with local disclosures (e.g. Australia Modern Slavery Act)
- Implement policies, roll-out human rights trainings, and broadly communicate the human rights approach within the company to create awareness
- Act internally and externally as the Human Rights officer of the Lindt & Sprüngli Group and engage in stakeholder dialogue and collaborative industry groups and initiatives

YOUR PROFILE:

- Completed Master’s degree or similar
- 5+ years experience in business and human rights, social sustainability or comparable with direct experience in program development and deployment, risk assessment, remediation, and measurement
- Experience in food & agriculture, consumer goods, or manufacturing sectors preferred
- Strong commitment to and passion for advancing human rights in global value chains; willingness to address environmental due diligence
- Familiarity with due diligence frameworks and experience interpreting regulations to drive compliance actions
- Familiarity with global social sustainability matters and trends (e.g., labor rights, worker wellbeing, DE&I, child labor, etc.)
- Fluent spoken and written English. German of advantage
- Highly effective collaborator with ability to work and partner cross-functionally and influence without direct authority
- Sense of ownership, entrepreneurial mindset, and independent working behaviour
- Strong project management and communication skills
