Hobson Prior are currently seeking for a Scientist - Technical Development to join a fantastic pharmaceutical organisation on a contract basis. Our client is focused on improving and prolonging the lives of many.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- For this role, you will be responsible for the formulation and manufacturing procedure deliverables which involves GMP linked features and change control.
- Conduct document evaluations and data integrity checks against raw data.
- Assist with drug product formulation development and manufacturing actions at both internal and external manufacturing sites for allocated projects aligned with the project plan, regulations and processes.
- Write manufacturing instructions for clinical manufacturing campaigns, gather data and comprehend outcomes, draw pertinent conclusions and partake in the development reports and quality risk assessment documents in cooperation with the project teams.
- Work alongside the operational colleagues operating on your procedure at the respective manufacturing sites.
- You will assist with deviation investigations and drive change control.

**Requirements**:

- Educated to a degree level in a life science field such as pharmaceutical.
- At least 5+ years of experience within the development and/or clinical manufacturing of pharmaceutical formulations for small molecules with familiarity in late phase development and launch actions.
- Acquaintance with ocular or parenteral development would be ideal.
- Able to think in an interdisciplinary manner with the intrigue to cooperate with any other functions.
- Know-how of GMP and GLP.
- Expertise on ocular and/or parenteral dosage from technologies and lab and/or technical tools.
- Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Works well with others within a matrix setting.
- Fluency in the English language with knowledge in German would be ideal.
